Add support for media queries
Zeldman and Jeremy tell us why:
http://www.zeldman.com/2010/06/23/responsive-design-is-the-new-black/
http://adactio.com/journal/A List Apart tells us how:
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/responsive-web-design/Stylizer would be the perfect vessel for working with media queries: it would be great to be able to define some viewport sizes and then switch between them easily. I believe Stylize could be the ultimate 'design in the browser' tool that so many people are thirsting after right now - good support for media queries would definitely highlight that.

Support SCSS (Sass) (variables, mixins, nesting, inheritance)
Stylizer would be the ideal UI over the top of Sass. You're already kind of doing mixins with your little diamond properties. Why not allow users to define their own mixins and variables? The grid would make an idea UI for nesting. If you implement these things, why not follow the well trodden patterns already established by Sass?

Synchronized split preview with different browser engines.
Just like the Photoshop preview when you "Save for Web", would be great to fix those small conflicting details across browsers.

Make the active CSS stylesheet a bright color
It is still too difficult to differentiate which stylesheet one is working on. This can cause the designer to edit the wrong stylesheet. Recommend the active stylesheet tab be a drastically different color than the rest of the stylesheets, not simply a shade difference. IE: The stylesheet being actively edited could be electric blue while the others are metallic gray.

should be able to edit the html, when we want to add some class to a text
I found it difficult to put some class to a spesific body copy, because we can't edit the html. It'll help a lot if we can edit freely the html tag and assign some classes to it

how about an option to have an psd, png or other image format as overlay
In firebug we have pixel perfect to do this. It would simplify the psd to HTML process. Or use the template image of any css grid system (like 960 or blueprint)

Mobile media browsers and screens
Stylizer could provide some mobile media browsers (like Opera Mobile), and a set of screens, or mobile phone models (like iPhone), and also if the mobile is lanscape or portrait. With this it could be easier developing mobile versions of the web pages.

should be able to add new CSS files and link them with the page temporarily
Right nwo you can Open CSS files but they won't get linked to the page, so the changes won't be seen. You should be able to see the changes, which would make editing live sites much easier.

add browser engines for the mac version, please.
because it's no use running Stylizer from the mac if you can only preview in Safari ;) plus a mac program that can simulate IE7 would be totally awesome.

Properties sorted in Alphabetical Order
Allow auto-sorting of css properties in alphabetical order. This could be a check mark in the "CSS Formatting" dialog.
For example:
border:1px solid #fff;
display:block;
margin:0px;
z-index:1;The obvious benefit here is organization.
Thanks!

change the default unit for font size
pt makes no sense as a default unit for sizing text, since it's a print based unit. change the default to px or em, please!

Comment formatting to make collaborating with non-Stylizer developers easier
Would like the ability to put 2 line breaks before comments, 1 line break after. Also, would like the ability to put a "template" that appeared before and after the comment name entered in Stylizer. Default is /Name/, would like to set something like, /* ######### Name ######## */, etc

Add the most common full font families to the font-family property values
Font-family is a property that requires "families", not single fonts. It's kind of annoying to have to go and check every time which fonts are part of the most used font-families and paste them back...
Besides, the way this is working now, every time you select a font on the list, the previously font inserted on the field gets replaced. This is irritating.15 votes
