Add an "Open file..." dialoge for "background-image" and it's grouped variant.

Setting the Base folder (this is remembered as equivalent to the Base url and would allow a browse for images) and having an autocomplete (remember recently typed information) are both good approaches. The setting of a Base folder would also allow you to save to both locations easily which saves the step later of having to sync the files. I have overwritten the 'new' css file on the server with my 'old' css from the desktop. It is a bummer.

I would also like a Dialog to appear when Opening / selecting Images as backrounds.
You could have an option on the dialog box to select whether you want the path to be saved as a Relative or Absolute Path.
Would have thought this would be a GIVEN function within the application.

I think that an open file dialog would be useful as long as Stylizer could change the absolute path to a relative path automatically.

I have to write ../images/base/ again and again. So wrapping not only url() around the path but also basepath would solve the issue. So either save the last path or make it configurable.
But for now I think one can use autohotkey http://www.autohotkey.com/ for such task.

URL autocomplete will be fine in this case. I suggest to add general autocomplete in input fields to Stylizer, this will solve this suggestion and many others.

IMHO, a open file dialog wouldn't serve much purpose, as full paths are not really what we usually need, even more when we're working in a local working copy of the website... But I would really appreciate a sort of memory of the last few paths inserted in background-image fields. This way, we would be able to reuse the same path over and over (as the images path is usually the same for a whole website) and just change the file name.
